Sunday May 3rd 2009 (3rd day of passes)

the night before we suddenly just said, "let's go to dinseyland tomorrow..." and so we did...got up early and Tim Greg and I went...we got to park right by where the tram picks up so very easy to walk to the tram...
with no plans of where we wanted to go, decided to just go whereever it led us...ended up headed towwards Adventureland and Jungle Cruise had absolutely no lines and we hadn't been on the ride for a long time...walked right on...when you haven't been on a ride for awhile, you see things that you do not rmeember and so it was with this one...I certainly did not remember the employees making all the jokes that they do now...guess it makes for a fun ride...
decided to walk around and go to Haunted House (I can never get too much of that place...) the Mint Julep bar was closed...and then we came back around to the Tiki Room (in all of the years I have gone to Disneyland, have never been to Tiki Room...) the show was all right, no need to go again, now that I have been once...the birds singing were OK, altho some people got up and walked out in the middle of the show...the Irish birds were cute...
Tim wanted to try the Dole pineapple whip that is outside the Tiki Room and he gave me a sip and it was delicious...
Greg and I started to get hungry, and we decided to go try the Plaza Inn...years ago, when we went, they had the first tortilla rollups that I ever had and they were delicious...well, now in the morning they have what they call "Breakfast in the Park..." and it is an all you can eat delicious buffett and a bunch of characters come to each table...since Greg and I were by ourselves, we felt a little weird with the characters but, next to us was a table of maybe 20 something ish in age girls from Japan and they went absolutely crazy when the characters came over to them...yelling and screaming but, it was funny to see...the food was so good...I do not like omelettes (?) but the ham and cheese one here is fantastic...the spiral ham also was terrific...fresh fruit, homemade muffins and cute Mickey waffles...a little pricey, but very good...
while we were in there (Tim did not want to go with us) he went over to Bengal BBQ and got teriyaki sticks and a Mickey pretzel...

while we were sitting waiting for Tim to eat his food, the firetruck came by us with a bunch of characters riding and then they had a parade with Mickey leading the Disneyland band...really cool...

walked thru Frontierland and then to Tomorrowland and went on the Nemo ride...Greg would not go on so Tim and I went...cute how they incorporated Nemo into the submarine ride...
park started getting busy so, we called it a day and went home...
btw...when you eat breakfast at Plaza Inn, they take your picture and Greg bought ours...
